We first met in 2020 through mutual friends as we were both getting ready to start our undergraduate degrees at Marian University in Indianapolis that fall. We didn’t start dating right away and there were plenty of “almosts”, but somehow we always found our way back to each other.

Everything clicked in May of 2021 when we both decided to stay on campus for the summer. With no class and a quiet campus, we had plenty of time to get to know each other, explore the city, and try new things together. That summer is where our story truly began.

Over the last five years, we’ve packed in more life than we ever expected. We’ve taken amazing trips. Notoriously always with just backpacks, because it’s about the experience, not extra outfits... We’ve moved plenty of dorms, apartments, and houses (Moving...Sean's favorite). We’ve had cycling adventures, spent countless evenings at pool bars, graduated college, met lifelong friends, navigated adulthood, our careers, gone on many Texas Roadhouse dates, and somehow accumulated a dog… or two… or three… and a cat. Yes, basically a zoo.

Fast forward to November 2025: we got engaged in our first home together on Thanksgiving Eve. We celebrated by playing pool at Imbibe and taking some very aesthetic engagement photos with the pool triangle rack...naturally.

Everything before and after has been the best beginning to the rest of forever. With Brownie, Coco, Piper, and Theo by our side, life already feels wonderfully full and we can’t wait for everything that comes next.
